Camp Wabanna
Wabanna is a summer residential and day camp for boys and girls located on Maryland’s Chesapeake Bay. As a non-denominational, non-profit Christian ministry, we have been impacting the lives of children since 1941. Our mission is to provide an environment that directs people toward the love of Jesus Christ. We offer an action-packed program with swimming, boating, tubing, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, indoor/outdoor climbing walls, ropes courses, 50-ft Giant Swing, arts and crafts, archery, sports courts, and much more. At Wabanna, a Christ-centered, well-trained, and highly motivated staff strives to add value to each and every camper. Love of life and a deep faith in God are modeled through an “action-packed,” structured, and safe program. Relationships built at camp are often memories for a lifetime. Wabanna is located on a beautiful 23-acre point where the Rhode and West Rivers converge into the Chesapeake Bay. Each camper can boast a waterfront view from almost anywhere on the property. This unique setting is sure to provide memories of unforgettable summer experiences. Wabanna provides a day camp program for ages 4-12, overnight camp for ages 7-15, and a leadership program for ages 14-18. The overnight programs run weekly from Sunday evening to Saturday morning for 8 weeks. Visit us during one of our Open Houses (March 15, April 4, or May 2), our winter retreat for grades 6-12 (January 16-18), or our spring retreat for 4-10 year olds on March 13-14.
