First we'll give you a swim test, to find out the best place for each camper to begin. Then we'll help you become comfortable with the vessel you'll use for instruction, tripping and special events such as our fun-filled races. We have a fleet of 200 canoes, including our Trader Canoes which are 22 feet long. Have you ever even thought of paddling in the same canoe with seven other people? We move! Every camper takes part in an exciting canoe trip, whether it's a shorter journey in Algonquin Park or more than 30 days way out there. Our trips are planned for cabin groups and are geared to the interests and the capabilities of everyone involved. Campers develop a lasting appreciation for the rewards of cooperation, as they work together to get over that next portage, collect firewood and leave a virtually untouched environment after a great-tasting meal. When you and your cabin group drift off to sleep under the stars, it will be hard not to dream about what might happen tomorrow.
