Camp Winaukee is a residential boys' camp on Lake Winnipesaukee in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, offering seven week sessions. Shorter sessions of four, five and six weeks are also offered for a limited number of campers.
Winaukee is more than a premium boys' sports camp. It is more than a spectacular location on Lake Winnipesaukee. It is a culture of good values that is passed down from generation to generation. The Winaukee community embraces a core philosophy set forth on the six branches of the Winaukee "Tree of Values": Enthusiasm, Loyalty, Sportsmanship, Friendship, Achievement and Cooperation. These values are instilled in Winaukee campers through a sports and adventure program and unique traditions that have been at the heart of Winaukee's 85 year history. In the words of one 11-year-old camper, "The Tree of Values is a life lesson; it prepares you for the real world."
Winaukee campers feel that they are part of something special, meaningful and bigger than themselves. That's why we often hear our campers say, "Winaukee is in my soul."
Winaukee has two campuses. The Mainland Camp has approximately 230 campers ages 7-12. The unique Island Camp, located on a private island just off the Mainland, has approximately 140 campers ages 13-15. Winaukee's two separate facilities offer all of our campers the intimacy of a small camp setting with the breadth and diversity of programming of a larger camp. The atmosphere at each of the two age-appropriate camps is unique. The boys on each campus set the tone and mood of their camp. The camps are run essentially separate, and each has its own facilities, playing fields, courts, bunks, playhouse and dining hall.
