Camp Young Judaea Sprout Lake

Camp Young Judaea Sprout Lake is a co-ed Jewish residential camp that offers children in grades 2-8 a taste of Israel in the Hudson Valley. CYJ Sprout Lake has infused the lives of Jewish campers with friendship, fun, a respect for the environment, a strong Jewish community, and a love of Israel for nearly 30 years. Sports, art, music, swimming, nature, boating, color war, drama, tennis, field trips, ropes course, and dozens of related activities form the basis of Sprout Lake’s carefully designed educational curriculum, making Sprout Lake more than just a beautiful outdoor playground – it is a place to both laugh and learn.

Sprout Lake’s talented American and Israeli staff lead campers in a safe, carefully supervised environment and they foster Jewish identity through innovative activities. Sprout Lake’s programming is among the most creative in Jewish camping and the camp has won several awards and grants for its unique approach.
