It has pristine water for snorkeling, with excelent visibility for viewing the many different species of marine life. It is also part of the marine invertebrate preserve which allows for a greater number of invertebrate species. The beautiful island of Catalina has some of the most preserved natural history in California. Secluded coves offer incredible visibility for snorkeling, and hiking trails often avail animals such as deer, buffalo and island foxes.

Educational

Students experience what is to be a real Marine Biologist! Our "hands-on" approach is an awesome way to help students understand and appreciate the actual processes of field biology. The students work in cooperative learning groups, keeping field journals to record data they observe in the various habitats.
