The Children of the Gospel Vocal Workshop is a weeklong program is available for singers of all levels, ages 9-18. The young people participate in activities focusing on vocal training, choral studies, music theory, choreography, songwriting, soloist clinics, in addition to providing opportunities to see and work with other local artists/ professionals in the arts. The Workshop program runs from 8:00 5:00 pm and provides participants with breakfast and lunch each day. A workshop fee is charged to current and new members. A culminating performance is planned at the venue at the end of the week.

The 2004 Children of the Gospel Vocal Workshop (part of the Summer Music Academy) will be held on July 19-23, 2004 (8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.), with a performance on July 25. The performance serves as the culminating activity of the weeks events.
