DescriptionBack to top

Circle of Friends Social Group provides social skills instruction designed for children who have difficulty understanding social cues and developing friendships. Our group is dedicated to teaching the social skills needed to blend in with the community, as well as teaching skills needed to form relationships with others. Programs are established for preschool through high school students and incorporate typically developing peers when available. Groups will be formed based on age and skill level.

Circle of Friends Social Group incorporates a multidisciplinary approach to teaching social skills. Each group session includes: structured lessons, social games,

video modeling, role playing and parent training. To help promote generalization, each student is provided with group lessons and DVDs demonstrating the skill.
