DescriptionBack to top

Clay is an exciting and magical material. At Clay Camp children will learn the art and craft of clay while having fun and exploring their creativity! Clay Camp is a unique pottery program offering a total hands-on experience for children 6 to 14. And now, every Friday, starting June 25th, we offer our Teen Workshops for kids 13 and up! At Clay Camp we offer patient encouragement and personal guidance. Classes are small, with a maximum of 15 students per class. Students receive both group and individual instruction at their own level. A wide variety of ceramic techniques are taught: throwing simple pieces on the Potter’s Wheel, shaping clay into Pinch Pots, designing and constructing Slab Projects, building unique Coil Vessels, Clay Decoration, and Glazing.
