Colorado Mountain Ranch
Activities include Western riding, horse and animal care, mountainboarding, swimming, gymnastics and trampoline, arts and crafts, archery, Native American Indian Lore, dramatics, music, dance, Frisbee golf, nature and environmental appreciation, outdoor living skills, hiking camping, tracking, green experiences in sustainable living, sports and games, teen leadership and problem-solving team challenges on the ropes course.
Optional weekly overnights and campouts round out each week. Bus transportation is provided to and from Boulder. Groups number 8-12, with a group counselor who is always with them, giving encouragement, inspiration, friendship, and guidance.
Specialized activity directors present a program of progressive instruction in each area. Campers who participate for several weeks or longer may more fully, explore each activity, develop skills and build relationships.
Children can choose to participate either in the Mountain Adventure Camp or in specialized Focus Camps (Horses, Gymnastics & Trampoline, Mountainboarding, Water, Earth, Trailblazers, and CIT’s).
The Colorado Mountain Ranch is looking for a few high-spirited, multi-talented and skilled people to join our team and help with all aspects of the overall operations of The Ranch.
Depending on the position, first year staff members can earn $150-$250/per week (plus a contract bonus), along with meals, housing, leadership training and, of course, living in the mountains! Seasonal job opportunities are available from May 21st through October 1st (at minimum, you must commit to a June 3rd through August 13th term). The Colorado Mountain Ranch believes in the value of confidence-building outdoor summer activity for children.

2008 Sessions: The First Day of Camp is June 9, and The Last Day of Camp is August 8.
All weeks are Monday through Friday with the exception of the July 30-July 3 week, which is a pro-rated 4-day week.
