Just a reminder that...........WE ARE BACK!!

Concrete Hoops Basketball Camp is Back for its 6th year and this year we are going to be bigger and better than ever!! With More Campers, Bigger Prizes, More Programs and More Guests we promise the
best Concrete Hoops Experience Yet!

Concrete Hoops Basketball Organization provides a new trend in basketball education, as we aim to provide positive programs, which will help in the social, emotional and physical well being of Torontos youth. Managed by a multicultural group, Concrete Hoops works to provide high quality instruction and programming. Each camper receives 1 week of quality coaching from university and national calibre athletes, various workshops run by professionals in their field, a basketball, Concrete Hoops Gear and an experience they will never forget. Concrete Hoops has recently become an international program as the 3rd Annual Concrete Hoops Basketball Camp Swaziland was held earlier this year in Mbabne, Swaziland, Africa. The trip to Africa further enhances the Concrete Hoops experience as connections are made between the Canadian and Swazi youth. Our experiences thus far have been very rewarding and we are continuing to build them one camp week at a time.

Today we are very excited to announce that Concrete Hoops will be heading back to Swaziland, Africa for our third annual basketball camp. We will be leaving April 21st for three weeks, focusing on different areas throughout the country each week. We use basketball as a tool to reach out to youth, teaching not only basketball skills, but also providing youth with life skills.  Life workshops will deal with issues such as AIDS awareness, racism and much more.  Our main focus is building youth leaders from within each community, in turn encouraging them to take initiative and run programs for themselves and for other youth all year round.

Last year we were able to touch the lives of over 400 youth and with your help we can reach many more this year. The money we raise will go directly to making this program possible and will contribute to sponsoring numerous youth to attend the camp that would otherwise not have the opportunity. We would like to thank everyone for their continued support.
