Costa Rica Outward Bound inspires and develops leadership, compassion, responsibility, respect for the environment and commitment to serve through adventure-based wilderness experiences. Led by our skilled, safety-conscious staff, you’ll trek through cloud and rainforests, rappel down waterfalls, whitewater raft and kayak down world-class rivers, stay with local Costa Rican families and surf famous Pacific beach breaks. Each rainforest adventure combines education and personal growth with unforgettable outdoor challenges.

Summer Courses - These range from surfing intensive to multi-element, and if you want to pick and choose activities we also offer some great combo courses. Come to Costa Rica for an amazing summer experience. Your friends will likely be jealous. 

 

Semester Courses - If you're looking for an alternative to regular classes for a semester but still want to earn school credit, these are worth looking into. Many of them even offer certifications such as SCUBA diving, Wilderness First Responder (WFR), and even whitewater raft guiding. 

 

Girl Scout Courses - Are you a Girl Scout looking for an awesome destination trip? Perfect! We've been offering these extremely popular courses for years now and many girls come back for more. They focus on certain areas like service challenge, underwater exploration, and beginner surf courses.
