DescriptionBack to top

Back to the basics farm adventure on a 150 year old farm.  Campers will learn self sufficient skills that our ancestors used to support their families.  Hands on techniques in gardening, farming, animal care, solar and wind systems, wild plant identification, harvesting and preparation of home-grown garden produce, campfire cooking and related nutrition discussions.

Additionally there will be arts and crafts incorporated into the learning process: woodworking, doll making, music, dance, poetry, storytelling and many other creative projects.

Sleeping in tents, star gazing, fishing, and lots of old time interactive games will delight campers during their country experience.
