Creepshow Camp
Summer Address:

Theres no better home than The Hypnodrome, San Franciscos own horror show palace, for this sensational summer arts program tailor-made for young devotees of Horror, Suspense and Sci-Fi. Beginning with a rare behind-the-scenes perspective on this Best of the Bay winning theatre and culminating in performances on The Hypnodrome stage, Creepshow Camp participants explore scary entertainment from gothic ghosts to modern movie monsters.
Devised and directed by Russell Blackwood, founder of the wildly successful Bay Area Shakespeare Camps, the camps reflect his expertise, insights and exuberance and that of The Hypnodromes resident company of artists. Campers practice and perform the classic techniques that give em the creeps" in our monster make-up lab and special effects shop and through hands-on horror theatre workshops and rehearsals for a finale performance on The Hypnodrome stage. From gothic ghosts to modern movie monsters, each camp session unearths new fiendish faces and eerie effects.
