Cypress House Ranch Horse Camp
Summer Address:

Each day starts with horse care , moves on to 2 hours of english lessons with a professional trainer on walk/trot horses. Our accent is on horsemanship, seat in the saddle, skill with hands on the reins, and use of the legs to cue the horse. For campers with those skills in place, Karen moves on to higher riding skills. Individualized instruction is foremost. After lessons and horse care is an hour in our 15X45 pool, followed by a 4 course buffet dinner. At 3:00 it's out to the barn for 3 hours with their afternoon gaited horse, western trail riding experience and skill practice.About 6:00 it's showers and supper followed by calls home and videos until lights out at 10.
The week's activities include a get acquainted supper campfire, games both with and without horses, a trail ride in the withlacoochee State Forest, and development of a horse show for parents.
