Gardens around the Globe

All aboard! Hop on this whirlwind journey around the world in five days. Travel in and out of cultures as you create souvenirs to keep. We’ll travel to a new location each day, exploring the food, plants and ecosystems from a variety of different far-off places. Gardens around the Globe is for children ages 6-12.

 Destinations include:

Latin America: Taste, smell and dance your way through Latin America. Take a look at the plants that influence daily life in Mexico and beyond.

Africa: Go on safari through Africa and discover plants from the dry desert of the Sahara to the rainforests of Madagascar.

Scandinavia: What do reindeer eat? Where do trolls live? Experience the plant life up north in Scandinavia.

Australia: Journey to the land down under as we go on a walkabout in the bush, look for bush tuckers and then throw them on the barbie.

Asia: Explore the plants and gardens of Japan, China, Pakistan, the Himalayas and more. Then have fun cooking and creating crafts using plants from this fascinating region
