Video Game Programming

Level One

Go beyond playing and gain the "power of creation" to program your own game. This popular introductory course is ideal for game enthusiasts who want to understand how today's interactive experiences are created and is an ideal experience for those who aspire to have a career in the video game industry as programmers.

Level Two

Building on the skills developed in the Video Game Programming: Level One workshop, this course covers more advanced programming concepts and gives students training that allow them to implement additional game elements including artificial intelligence and multiplayer capability.

Level Three

This workshop is for serious video game programming workshop alumni who want to learn about what is involved with programming 3D video games. The course covers the 3D graphics pipeline found in many of today's 3D video games, with practical work focused on 3D ray-casting engines similar to those used in first person adventure/shooter games.
