DiscoveryWorks Community Service, in collaboration with Summer Discovery, invites you to experience the best of all worlds by helping others, living in a university residence hall with high school students from all over the USA and around the world, while having the most amazing summer of your life.
Join our exciting, unique, college credit Internship program, with non-profit organizations in the greater Boston area. Engage in menaingful Internships in a high energy, hands-on service program. Several meaningful Internships within the greater Boston area give students the opportunity to give back to the community. You may work for environmental causes, help maintain a recreation center, care for the elderly, work with disadvantaged children and help lead the Summer Discovery Community Service volunteer program. Students will receive 3 college credits from Northeastern University and partake in approximately 70 hours of community service. Please refer to the box above for program details. All DiscoveryWorks students will be under the care and supervision of the Summer Discovery Staff and participate in most Summer Discovery activities and excursions.
