Marine Biologist for a Day

See if you have what it takes to become a Marine Biologist! Spend a day behind the scenes where all the scientific action happens. Experience close encounters with exotic species from the deep sea to shallow reef and everywhere in between. You'll even get to dissect a squid! Program includes guided tour, biologist dive show, squid dissection, animal feedings and much more! T-shirts & lunch included.

Zoologist for a Day

Tigers at an aquarium? There are more than just fish here at the Downtown Aquarium. Examine our impressive species of birds, reptiles, amphibians and, of course, the white tigers. Spend your day learning how we handle and train our creatures that live outside the ocean. Interact with live animals, build animal enrichment toys, talk with tiger and bird keepers and much more! T-shirts & lunch included.

·         Ages: 6-12

 

Wild Dreams Overnight

You've seen our white tigers of the Maharaja's Temple… now you can learn about their cousins in the wild! Explore the rainforests of the world and learn about conservation through the eyes of a tiger. Get ready to stay up late, learn all about tigers, go on a scavenger hunt, and sleep within inches of these awesome animals. Plus much more. Perfect for groups! Includes a snack, T-shirt and breakfast in the Aquarium Restaurant.

·         Cost: Week: $265 per person; Daily: $59.95 per person;1 free adult with every 5 kids in a group, minimum of 10 people

·         Ages: 6 and up (activities most enjoyable for ages 7-13)

·         Time: 8pm - 9am

Sea Safari Summer Camp

An animal a day… keeps you learning and wanting to play. Join the Downtown Aquarium's Education department, along with the animal residents, to learn about sharks, rays, octopuses, felines and parrots. We will play games, make crafts and participate in many activities to see what makes these animals unique and able to live where they do.

·         Cost: Week: $265 per person; Daily: $69.95 per person

·         Ages: 6-12

·         Days: Monday-Friday, 9am – 5pm

Explor-Oceans Camp

Try to keep yourself steady this summer on shaky ground. Learn about earthquakes, volcanoes and tectonic effects on the Earth's surface and animal habitats. Explore through hands-on activities, scavenger hunts, crafts and games.

·         Cost: Week: $265 per person; Daily: $69.95 per person

·         Ages: 9-13

·         Days: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm

Mommy & Me: A Small Fry Adventure

Toddlers, bring your moms! Make your self comfy on giant pillows while you listen to a story. Then play a game and make a craft based on the story.

·         Cost: $12.99 per participant pair (adult and child)

·         $2.00 each additional participant

·         Add-on lunch and All-Day passes.

·         Days: Mondays, 10am - 11am

·         Ages: 2-5

Scouts Only! Overnight!

You've seen the aquarium during the day, but at night it can be a whole different world! Bring your troop to Downtown Aquarium. Explore the wacky and wonderful animals and their habitats while earning your next badge. Program activities include interactive programming that fulfills badge requirements, crafts and our Rise 'n Shine breakfast. Bring your sleeping bags and snooze amongst the sharks and rays!

  • Finding out where water you drink comes from
  • Making your own water cycle
  • Learning how to prevent water shortages
