Many requests for wilderness-oriented whitewater skills training for young adults 13-17 inspired Dvorak Expedition's 22 day course. Moreover, the course offers much more than just whitewater skills. It teaches the ecology and value of river wilderness and minimum impact camping techniques. River safety is a critical part of the course. Helping you become a safe and aware paddler is an integral part of the whitewater skills camp. We offer multi-sport opportunities such as rock climbing, peak climbing, mountain biking, horseback riding and many options for history, flora and fauna education on the nine rivers that we can run the course on. We visit Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and New Mexico for our rivers. The variety of crafts will include inflatable raft, kayak, hard shell kayak, canoe. We will spend very little time at base camp as a unpack and repack for next river sections.
