Edu-Culture International (ECI) is a non-profit educational organization run by professionals with advanced degrees in education. We specialize in summer study abroad and exchange programs for high school students, all of which are based in vibrant, youthful and safe locations, with the choice of staying with host families or in university-style dormitories.

Most of ECI’s summer study abroad programs last from 3 to 4 weeks, with the first 2-3 weeks including language classes. The morning classes are small, interactive, fun and usually include other international students. After lunch, there are a variety of supervised activities like salsa dancing, kayaking, visits to nearby villages or towns, cooking classes and more. After dinner we enjoy concerts, dancing, movies, and other social activities. Of course, there’s plenty of free time for students to get together with friends to explore their own interests. Our teen language programs are based in vibrant university towns, and getting a taste of independence and college life is an important part of the experience.

All student trips abroad also include up to one week of travel to some of the most beautiful places in Spain, France and Costa Rica. We always choose high quality, centrally located hotels.

High school students who are planning on applying to college in the near future know how important it is to have a strong application. With ECI’s study abroad programs, teens can earn three semester units of credit in French or Spanish through an accredited US university. These credits are transferable to any university, and are accepted by most universities in the United States.

ECI’s unique Immersion Host Family Program provides a life-changing teen summer exchange opportunity!

ECI’s Language Partners are an exciting unique feature of our language and culture programs!
