The YMCA introduced organized camping to America and for more than one hundred years, the YMCA has been an innovator of camping activities nationwide.
The East Orange YMCA is accredited by the American Camping Association, which means our facilities, equipment, safety, staff credentials and training are of the highest standards.
Youngsters will participate in a traditional well-rounded camp program featuring sport activities and instruction, swimming, arts & crafts, computers and weekly field trips.
The Staff is selected on the basis of ability, enthusiasm, and concern for helping young people develop. All staff members participate in pre-camp orientation and on-going training sessions.
