WHAT YOU SEE:

Europe’s second biggest synagogue, Schonbrunn Palace, Austrian crown jewels, Europe as it was 50 years ago, a Terror Museum, 3 different countries, castles, Wenceslas Square (which is actually a street), houses of Mozart, Liszt and Dvor¡ák, haunting reminders of WWII and life behind the Iron Curtain, the famous "baths" (hot water swimming pools) of Budapest, the film sites and the real life sites of "The Sound of Music," a UNESCO World Heritage historic village, cathedrals, glass cutting.

WHAT YOU DO:

Dance the night away in clubs, shop in elegant traditional stores and funky shops in 3 cities, meet the local people, attend concerts, cook and eat two types of Goulash, enjoy elegant dining in world class restaurants, sit at cafés and enjoy café culture, visit a concentration camp and see how life was for the people of two countries under fascism & Communism.

WHAT YOU LEARN:

The unique cultures of 3 different countries, how WWII and the Cold War affected the people of Eastern Europe, night photography, how to make Hungarian goulash and its cousin in the Czech Republic, how to dance the folk dances of Eastern Europe, 3 languages, how to navigate Europe comfortably and safely by train, the music of Mozart, Liszt and Dvor¡ák, how to cut lead crystal.

Educational and fun learning by living as a native. We travel not merely to see, but to do and to experience… not in a herd, but through choices.
