Educo Adventure School was founded in 1969 and since then has consistently provided young people with wilderness adventure experiences that have greatly influenced their lives. All Educo courses are dedicated to the development and support of young people to draw forth their full and unique potential. The school provides unparalleled opportunities for participants to examine their beliefs about themselves, other people and the world around them. Students are encouraged and assisted to challenge themselves and to support each other, to develop a respect for all life and property around them, to express themselves fully and creatively, to participate in life to the best of their ability and to accept personal responsibility for the choices they make. These skills greatly enhance their ability and desire to make a positive contribution to their families, peers, schools, communities and the world at large.
