Edventure – Intermediate LEGO® Robotics (Ages 8 – 14)

Now that you have the skills to design, build, and operate a robot, challenge yourself further by building complex programs to maneuver your robot around an obstacle course, make your robot dance, and more! Participants will work with partners.

Edventure – Drama (Ages 8 – 12)

To be or not to be… an actor. Learn the various aspects of dramatic live performance: character, movement, and voice, by presenting scenes from Shakespeare’s most famous plays, including “Romeo and Juliet” and
“A Midsummer Night’s Dream”!

Beginning Web Design (Ages 10 – 16)

If you want to learn to publish your own website: learn how to add content, images, navigation, links, tables, sound, pop-ups, and image maps, then this is the camp for you. You will learn skills that give you a voice on the Web. Using Macromedia’s Dreamweaver MX®, an industry standard web authoring tool, you will complete several guided projects. At the end of the week, you’ll know the essentials needed and have a good start on your own website and make it appealing through artful design and layout.

Beginning Flash Animation (Ages 10 – 16)

If you want to go one step further, then you’re ready for Flash MX®. During this week you will learn how to add some snap to your website. This is the cool stuff you see in interactive greeting cards, most web-based games, or other animations. You will discover how to animate your website giving it the look that fits your style.

2-D animation has brought websites to life. You’ve seen Flash everywhere… here’s where you can learn it. Our Flash course covers layers, text, banners, morphing, animating, buttons, motion guide, drawing, sound, and even more features of the Flash interface to create amazing animated projects.

Intermediate Flash Animation (Ages 10 – 17)

Create several 2-D animation projects to add "flash" to your website or just for fun! Projects will include creating an interactive e-card, mini-film, and even a game!

Edventure – Beginning Digital Photography & Graphics

       (Ages 10 – 16)

If you want to take digital photos and learn to edit them while designing cool new graphics, this is the course that will help you master the art and science of digital photography. You’ll start by learning what makes a good photo (and what stinks!), and then practice getting your own perfect shots. Then, add on the cool skill set of image editing (color, shape, and light) and you’re ready to rock-n-roll.
