Elora Festival Singing Day Camp
Summer Address:

Camp Director, Emily Dow, and the Elora Festival are pleased to present the third annual Singing Day Camp for children of ages 8 - 12. Give your children this exciting opportunity to learn about singing, acting and speaking lines, choreography, building and painting sets and preparing for the final performance. No previous musical experience is necessary. Space is limited to 50 children.
Register at the Elora Centre for the Arts (75 Melville Street, Elora) on Thursday, May 18th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Cost is $75.00 per child for the 5-day camp plus a $10 deposit for the musical score. Cash, Visa or Mastercard are accepted. OHIP and birth certificate are required.
This year, our camp runs from July 24th to July 28th, 2006, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Location is the Elora Public School, 288 Mill Street East, Elora (to be confirmed). The final performance, open to the public, will be at the Elora Public School on Friday, July 28th at 4:00 p.m. Tickets are free. The children will be performing, Compose Yourself, a charming musical introducing composers of the past to children of today.

Emily Dow (ACCM, BMus, BEd, MMus, Chamber Mus. Dip.) has been the Camp Director since its inception in 2004. As part of the Elora Festival, the camp provides children with a challenging and fulfilling integrated arts program. During the week, children will sing, paint, rehearse lines and learn choreography. The week culminates in a free performance, open to the public, on Friday, July 28th at 4:00 p.m.
