Mesa, Arizona, United StatesEmbrace Your World is an environmental day camp in which we will discover how we can take better care of our resources while having fun. The camp has a high emphasis on cooperative projects and games. We have 2 sleep away camping trips as well as many day trips to places such as Hassayampa River Preserve, Arcosanti, Montezuma Castle and Clear Creek. We are open to children with special needs. Campers will enjoy taking a trip to Montezuma Castle and the Verde River and will discover the natural wonder of our beautiful state all while learning about the native cultures, animals and plant life of the Sonoran Desert and Verde Valley.

Some like it hot
Why do some animals like it hot and some like it cold, how do they adapt to their environment? Explore adaptation this week with and how we can form new habits that honor the earth and all that live here.

Globe Trotters
Take a trip around the world and discover the many cultures that abound on our beautiful planet. During this time we will also investigate how we use the Earth’s resources and how we can use them more consciously.
July 23-27
Keepers of the Earth
This week campers will truly prepare themselves to be good caretakers of our home, how to live in harmony with our environment and each other. This week will feature a trip to Arcosanti near Cordes Junction.
July 29-Aug 3
More Than Meets the Eye
This week campers will discover the Solar System and Universe we live in. They will enjoy making models of the universe, learning how stars are born, visiting the Planetarium and IMAX theatre.
