10 Things You Should Know About Evans Welsh Pony Camp

1. We are America's premier pony camp.



2. We accept riders all of all levels - from first time riders to students wanting to learn to train young horses.
3. Every student receives a PRIVATE one on one riding lesson daily - none of that "head out on the rail and just follow the horse in front of you for an hour." We do do fun group riding games, though!
4. We practice all equestrian disciplines, from hunter/jumpers, to dressage, to Western Pleasure, to gymkhana.
5. We have 10-20 foals born each year, including Section A, Section B, and Section C Welsh ponies and cobs. You will LOVE our foals!
6. Our private campus is on 80 acres with hills, a river, old growth Pine Trees, and a breathtaking view of the Wallowa Mountains.
7. Our campers eat fresh meats and vegetables locally grown by Joseph farmers. Vegetarian/Vegan options always available!
8. We take hikes in the Eagle Cap Wilderness, visit Joseph's world-famous founderies, and roast marshmallows nightly.
9. You will know more about horses after one week at Evans Welsh Pony Camp than you will after 2 years of riding lessons at a traditional riding stable.
