Our mission is to build a bridge between sport and spirit. To help kids discover and develop the values that define true victory in the game of life. To teach a new generation what it means to play to win. For our children. For our community. For our future. The goals of our program are to utilize a holistic approach with programs that develop our youth from the inside-out. Our programs address: behavior management, developing youth as leaders, physical education, health and wellness, entrepreneurship, cultural enrichment, and academic enrichment (literacy, science and technology, culinary arts). We offer a 10 week summer program for 100 youth, that includes 10 hrs per week in recreational, 10 hrs per week of outdoor/adventure programs, 10 hrs per week in educational, 20 hrs of sports skills training, 40 hrs of culinary arts, 20 hrs of music, 40 hrs of arts and crafts, 40 hrs of cultural enrichment, and 40 hrs of entrepreneurship training. Each week has a theme such as “Music Week” or ‘Culinary Arts”, and the youth work with local professionals in each field and work on projects that introduce them to that field of interest. Our weekly field trips are also associated with the area of focus for the week.

Summer Camp 2011 Location eXcite All Stars Summer Day Camp is held on the campus of The Church at New Orleans East (TCANOE), in the heart of Eastern New Orleans. Facilities include a computer lab, a cafe, multiple playgrounds, and classrooms. Each camper will be assigned to a homeroom. Dates & Rates eXcite All Stars Summer Day Camp offers two 5 week sessions: (Mon thru Friday) Session 1: June 6 – July 8 Session 2: July 11- August 12 Camp Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Camp Fee: $425 per session or $85.00 per week Register now by clicking here! *A registration fee of $50 per child is required at the time of registration. ** There is a one time field trip fee of $50.00 per child Breakfast & Lunch A nutritious breakfast and lunch will be served. A morning and afternoon snack will also be provided. Ages Camp is available to rising 1st through 8th graders. Campers will be grouped according to age level. Before & After Care Earliest drop off is at 7:00 AM. Latest pick up is at 6:00 PM. Extended Care is available for all campers. Registration is not required, though a discount is offered if an entire session is pre-paid. Parents of “drop-ins” will be billed at the beginning of each week. Breakfast is served in before care and a snack will be provided in after care. Extended Care fees: $125 per session if pre-paid; $35.00 per week for drop-in.
