Experiential Adventures of Colorado LLC will be operating two 4-day weekends during the summer of 2009. Participants will be met in Dolores, Colorado and transported to the base camp in the San Juan National Forest. These weekends will consist of instruction in camping skills, including, but not limited to, setting-up and breaking-down camp, fire-building, outdoor cooking, emergency procedures, hiking in the backcountry, Leave No Trace principles, and health & safety. The majority of the weekend will be spent in camp learning skills essential to safe, fun, camping, with one planned short hike.
