Campers will enjoy new weekly themes as they spend their days outdoors cycling, swimming, river trekking, connecting with the community, creating eco-art, playing games, and learning about nature through exploration and dynamic outdoor activities. In Wasaga Beach, campers aged 6-10 will take off from the Trails Centre to discover Wasaga’s trails and natural spaces. In Collingwood, Explorations Green is offered to campers aged 4-14 including an exciting new program for 11-14 year olds focusing on leadership, survival skills, adventure team building, active challenge games, and friendship! Explorations Green introduces campers to the many trail systems, parks, and public spaces that our area has to offer. Under the guidance of trained counsellors, campers discover the different relationship between people and the environment while experiencing numerous ways to enjoy nature.

The Explorations Green Summer Day Camp will operate from 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday from July 4th, 2011 through September 2nd, 2011.
