Expeditions depart from any location in San Diego Bay. Upon boarding, the FANTASEA will get underway. While heading to our selected destination a safety speech and general orientation of the days events will take place. Depending on your group size, we will make up four teams in order to complete the days activities in smaller team building groups. Once we arrive at the Silver Strand Beach the vessel will anchor, and the 4 expeditions teams will head to their first activity for the day. Team 1 will board one of our small inflatable boats and take off for the beach and explore the estuary, Team 2 will partner into the two man kayaks, Team 3 will use our scientific equipment to test the clarity and local water quality here in San Diego. And lastly team 4 will board the small boat to explore the shallows of South San Diego Bay or maybe enjoy a little free time on the water toys! Throughout the day teams will rotate in order to experience all the
activities. Meals and snacks will be served on board the FANTASEA throughout the day
based the schedule of your expedition. Our return trip will include a narration of the many sights throughout the San Diego Harbor. We have other activities that can be tailored for your group.
