FCSEC Experience 5 out of 5 stars

I attended Ferrum College Summer Enrichment Camp in 2005 and again in 2006. Those two weeks at Ferrum (One week each year) were without a doubt the best of my life. I cannot even begin to describe how much fun I had in FCSEC. The week is so well planned. Starting with the counselors. The counselors at this camp are nothing less that completely Amazing. Their funloving, yet safe nature made this camp so much fun. They have a way of relating to the kids, having fun with us as if they're our regular friends! Yet they also provide the security and safety expected from camp counselors. And let's not forget the CIT's and CIW's. (Counselors in training/Waiting) They too provide a fun and entertaining environment whilst keeping it safe for kids. The program itself is as amazing as its counselors. Absolutely off the hook! The teachers were fun and gave us a good time, while still teaching their subject very well. I always came away from the camp having learned many new and applicable things. The out-of-class activities are also unbelievably amazing. Its like field day every day. Nonstop fun. And let me mention that the breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals totally rock. the cafeteria offers great food, not to mention, there's a subway downstairs! And Finally, there's the dance!! This was, in my opinion, the best part of the entire camp! It was a reat way to really get to know everyone in the camp, and a lot of fun. I always danced until the end and they turned the music off. This camp (FCSEC) was the best summer program I have ever attended!
