Film Making and Media Camp
Summer Address:

Ages 11 - 14 - July 26 through July 30
Ages 14 - 17 - August 2 through August 6
During each camp, teens will have a great time, meet new friends, and learn the basics of cinematography, directing, acting, writing and much more. During the week, after gaining loads of hands-on training, students will use high definition cameras and other professional equipment to produce their own short film.
These camps are taught by Director/Producer Kyle Lawrence who has produced and directed an internationally broadcast television series, Completing Kaden, a feature film The Scarf, and most recently the feature film Logan which stars Leo Howard (GI Joe: Rise of Cobra and Disney's Leo Little's Big Show) and Booboo Stewart (The Twilight Saga).
By the end of the week, students will have produced their own short film from scratch, learned valuable information, gained priceless experience, and met new friends, all while having a great time doing so.
Open to any students in U.S. and Canada. Campers coming from out of town may contact The Connection for more information regarding airport transportation and lodging. The closest airports are Vancouver (YVR), Abbotsford (YXX), and Bellingham, WA (BLI).
