Flight Expo 2009
Want to find out what it feels like to pull back on the yoke of the airplane and have it climb at your command? If this sounds like fun to you then join us in sunny northern Arizona for a 6 day flight exploration camp designed to more than whet your appetite for adventure in the sky.
You will be partnered with another participant to work with an Embry-Riddle certified Flight Instructor. Learn maneuvers every pilot needs to know by going on day, night and cross country flights in a Cessna 172 aircraft where you fly the plane! In preparation for these flights, you will be shown how to read sectional charts, and interpret aviation weather reports. We will teach you the basic principles of aerodynamics, navigation systems, aircraft systems and performance, plus procedures related to the safe operation of an aircraft so you will be able to relate these principles to your experience at the controls of the airplane.
