Fun & Educational Accredited Summer Camp with Degreed Teachers and Low Ratios
Foundations for the Future School uses Foundations Gym for the Elementary Summer Camp program, for children entering Kindergarten through 5th grade. (Foundations for the Future School also provide summer programs for children from infancy through Pre-K as an extension our school-year programs.
Foundations K-5th Summer Camp program combines fun and exciting sports activities with educational activities and events. Lead teachers are degreed teachers, with an average ratio of 1 teacher for every 10 children in the class. Each week includes gymnastics, rock climbing, Spanish, Art, and an additional sport theme along with a Nature educational focus. Foundations is nationally accredited by NAEYC & SACS-CASI and upholds those high standards during the Summer Camp program.
Under the supervision of Maria Shaheen, a full-time faculty member at Kennesaw State University, two Kennesaw State University courses will be doing some literacy field work with the students that attend summer camp. Students will participate in creative literacy enrichment activities with their mentors.
