Residential Summer Camp for boys and girls aged 10 to 16.
The Frost Centre Institute's Summer Camp operates from an extraordinarily beautiful waterfront campus on Lake St. Nora, 12 kilometers South of Dorset, in the heart of the Haliburton Highland. Captivating program of environmental science, including participation in real research projects, and visual arts taught by some of the top artists in Haliburton. Instruction in sailing, kayaking, canoeing and life-saving swimming. Accommodation in lodges with 2-3 campers per bedroom.

Participate in our environmental research projects, alongside our residential and guest researchers from the University of Guelph's Department of Environmental Biology. The current focus of our research is the impact of human activity and climate change on our forest and aquatic ecosystems.

Learn some new skills in digital photography, painting, print-making, pottery and sculpture from some of the top teaching artists in the Haliburton Highlands area.

Have a great time and earn a High School credit at the same time. Our Summer Camp offers credits in Environmental Science (SNC3M), Visual Arts (AVI3M) and an Inter-disciplinary credit (IDC3O).
The Frost Centre Institute is a validated private school authorized by the Ontario Ministry of Education to offer credits toward an Ontario secondary school diploma.

Session dates for 2008 Summer Camp Session 1: June 22 to July 5 Session 2: July 6 to July 19 Session 3: July 20 to Aug 2 Session 4: Aug 3 to Aug 16 Session 5: Aug 17 to Aug 30 Summer camp fees are $960 CDN per week, all inclusive, for all sessions. Applicable taxes (6% GST and 3% PST). The optional SCUBA program is not included in camp fees.
