The YMCA provides children with summer adventures that promote a healthy spirit, mind and body.  Children will spend their time outdoors as experienced staff lead campers in a wide variety of activities each day.  Campers are grouped with children of similar ages and placed with a counselor following the ratios of age 6-8 years, one counselor for every eight children and age 9-12 years, one counselor for every ten children. 

Drop off for camp will be 7-8:30 am and pick up from 4:30-6:00 pm at Memorial Park off of Tyrrell Road in Gilberts,IL.  Campers will then be taken to Burnidge Forest Preserve on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.  On Wednesdays, campers will go off-site on a field trip and Fridays campers will go to the Taylor Family YMCA for swimming and fitness activities.  Contact Community Development Director, Sabrina Hirschfeld for more information at 847-888-7410 x38.

Weekly sessions starting June 4 - August 17.  7 am - 6 pm.  Early registration January 1-April 30:$140 per week for YMCA members and $165 per week for non-members.  Late registration after May 1: $165 per week for members and $190 per week for non-members.  $25 per week non-refundable, non-transferable deposit due at time of registration.  Final payments are due the Monday prior to the week reigstered.  See our website at www.elginymca.com for registration materials.
