H2J Summer Riding Camp

Now in its 12th year, is located at Cozy Point Ranch, six miles from Aspen, Colorado off Highway 82.  There are three outdoor arenas, a large indoor arena and 180 acres of pasture land.  Whether you are a local or a visitor, your horse enthusiast will find plenty of challenges and rewards in our program.

Daily activities include:

• Safety lessons, horse grooming & racking
• Daily chores: feeding, bedding, watering, cleaning
• Group or semi-private riding lessons.  Class ratios are: Beginners 2:1, Intermediate 3 or 4:1, Advanced 5:1.
• Lessons on topic of the week including basic anatomy, veterinary skills, equine occupations, breeds & colors, riding terminology, emergency first aid, show grooming, styles of riding and more.
• Games - puzzles, word games and hands-on fun.

• Art project every day that is horse related.

June 4 to August 24, 2007

Monday thru Friday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Daily rate $90.00 per day (1 to 4 days);

Weekly rate $85.00 per day (5 to 9 days)

Seasonal rate $80.00 per day (10 days or more)

Preseason special - 10% off if registration and payment in full are received before April 1, 2007.
