The Port Townsend Marine Science Center offers a variety of weeklong camps centered on the marine environments of Port Townsend Bay and the Straits of Juan de Fuca. Camps are held in the Port Townsend Marine Science Centers Marine Exhibit and Natural History Exhibit and along the beaches of Admiralty Inlet, Port Townsend Bay and other sites visited on field trips. Campers in the residential program stay in historic Fort Worden State Parks Conference Center facilities.In Marine Science Camp, campers are immersed in scientific study, creative activities and respectful play. In Natural History Camp, campers explore the geology of the shoreline and life histories of the animals living there.
