Herron Youth Art Camp
Summer Address:

At Herron School of Art and Design's summer Youth Art Camp, kids age 5 – 16 will learn about visual arts through hands on experiences- including time in art studios.
Campers get the highest quality education! Herron is Indiana's only professional school of art and design. Located in the heart of Indianapolis, campers will enjoy not only the resources of Herron but the IUPUI campus and local museums and parks.
Why Herron Youth Art Camp?
Class Format
Full Day Sessions *ages 9-12 or ages 13-16
Monday through Friday, 8:30am until 4:30pm.
There is a one-hour lunch break plus a morning and afternoon snack/recreational break. Herron will provide snacks during scheduled breaks. Students should bring their own lunch, a sketchbook, and a water bottle.
Half Day Sessions *ages 5-8 or ages 9-12
Monday through Friday afternoon, 1:00pm until 4:30pm.
There is one snack/recreational break. Herron will provide snacks during scheduled breaks. Students should bring a sketchbook and a water bottle

Earth and Air Art Camp
Students will use a variety of art materials to explore the elements of earth (landscape) and air (wind). Activities will include creating with clay, constructing kites and a collaborative inflatable sculpture, and making paintings, drawings and mixed media artworks. Each camp week will feature a guest educator or field trip partner.

Session 5 July 20-24 HALF DAY** Ages 5-8 and Ages 9-12
Fire and Water Art Camp
Students will use a variety of art materials to explore the elements of fire (heat) and water. Activities will include creating with clay, watercolor painting, drawing, printmaking and sculpture. Each camp week will feature a guest educator or field trip partner.
