The camp includes horse sense & safety, tack and care of tack, basic riding skills, round pen exercises, horse-human bonding exercises, fun and exciting games both on and off the horse, herd dynamics (herds have bullies, leaders, followers, cliques.... just like school!), equine assisted learning - what the horse can tell us, intro to equine health and first aid, fun farrier skills, camp fires, and at the end of each grouping, campers return with friends and family for a BBQ, wagon rides and fun!
Camps are run by Higher Trails certified counsellors.
