We offer inspiring visual art camps for children and teens, at our historic setting, the former Doon School of Fine Arts.  We focus on providing top-quality instruction to aspiring young artists in our many studio spaces.

We are located on 3 acres of parkland at the 170 year old former homestead of noted Canadian Landscape painter, Homer Watson.  Two members of the Group of Seven have also painted and instucted here during the Doon School period.   

We have a pottery studio, garden studio, photography/darkroom facilities, and an early years (ages 4 to 6) studio.  Our site is also an art gallery and a museum so the campers can explore art exhibitions and learn about art history. 

We are proud to feature a yearly children's art exhibition Summer Colours where the students artwork hangs in our 3 gallery spaces.  We offer camps for children and teens, ages 4 to 18.

Our camps start July 4th and finish September 1st .  Camps are half-day and full-day programs 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm, running for one week at a time.  We offer morning, lunch and after class supervision as well.

Examples of visual art camps suitable for 7 to 18 year olds are Mysteries of Ancient Egypt, Pottery for kids, Photography, Brushes with Nature, Brushes with History, Dynamite Drawing & Painting, Teen Studio: Mixed Media, The Props Room: Movie & Animation, Paper Art, Medieval Art, Portraiture, Yoga & Art for Kids and more.

ARTStart (ages 4 to 6) have programmes such as Trains, Planes, and Automobiles; Over the Rainbow; Sand Castles & Magical places; Jungle Safari; Dragon Scales & Fairy Tales; Whales, Snails, & Walruses; Long, Long, Ago; Singing in the Rain and more.
