DescriptionBack to top
Hope Bay Bible Camp / Haven of Hope runs a wide variety of fun and creative camps throughout the summer.  All of our camp programs are designed to give kids a fun and exciting experience that will create lasting memories and friendships.

We offer a wide variety of activities throughout the different camps, including hiking, swimming, tubing, canoeing, archery, fencing, sailing, power boating, and much more

Our staff is trained to challenge the kids to do more than they ever thought they could, while keeping things safe and fun.  The kids will be challenged to stretch themselves mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually. Every activity we do is focused on introducing the kids to Jesus Christ and showing them Gods love. Whether sharing experiences with a cabin, acting out skits with a team, or tubing behind a powerboat, these are weeks that your kids wont forget!

Island Challenge Out-trip

(July 9-14)

NEW for 2007!
For campers ages 13-16, this camp provides a great get-a-way and a chance to enjoy nature. This out-trip group will canoe around The Penders, with a few detours to other beautiful gulf islands in the vicinity.  The group will tent most evenings and even get to experience making its own food!

With a higher staff to camper ratio, this camp is more relational and tight knit. Experience new things while creating friendships and memories that will last long after the canoes have been taken out of the water!

*Warning* ~ If you sign up for this camp, you must be in good physical condition and ready to canoe for a week.

If you are interested in fishing there will be no extra cost, but the camper will need to bring picture ID to the camp with them so that a license can be obtained.  (student ID cards with pictures will be acceptable).

Pender Island Performing Arts

(July 16-21)

With a focus on drama, Pender Island Performing Arts will give kids, ages 11 & up, the chance to learn about their creative talents in an environment where it is safe to step out and try new things.  The campers will be learning all aspects of creating, rehearsing and performing a play.  Skills included will be acting, singing, directing, stage & set design, and construction.

All of this will be done in a beautiful setting with chances to do other activities such as boating, hiking, sports, etc.  Pender Island Performing Arts is an opportunity to learn about themselves while creating lasting friendships and memories.

 Boating Camps 1, 2, & 3

(July 30-Aug 4), (Aug 6-11), (Aug 13-18)

Our Boating Camps focus on water sports such as swimming, canoeing, kayaking, tubing, power boating, and sailing, but are jam-packed with all kinds of different activities.  These activities include fencing, hiking, disc-golf, archery, pelletry, and other sports.

This camp has a schedule that packs as much fun into the week as possible.  The campers will experience a variety of activities that are meant to create and build great relationships.

Whether making new friends or doing things theyve never done, Hope Bay provides a safe place for kids to expand their horizons and have fun!

Music Plus

(Aug 20-25)

This camp will bring out the creative side in your kids.  With a focus on music and worship, Music Plus provides a safe place for kids to learn about their talents and be a part of something as they make friends and experience new songs and music.

Lessons will be provided for select instruments and voice, and kids will get the chance to play their instruments with others and learn what it is like to be part of a group.

For ages 11 & up, with different sports and activities thrown into the mixture, Music Plus will have your kids excited to come back next year.
