Situated on a spacious, 450-acre campus adorned with palm trees and sun-splashed greens, the IMG Academy Golf Program facilities are a state-of-the-art golfer’s paradise located within the confines of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
The IMG Academy Golf Program accommodates golfers of all abilities, ages, and levels of commitment. The world-renowned golfing facility offers year-round training programs. Full-time residency programs run from September through May and are specifically designed to allow players to reach a level of total development. Students interested in enrolling with the IMG Academy Golf Program are provided with housing on the IMG Academy campus and attend a private school with customized morning and afternoon curriculum. A balance of topnotch academic instruction and world-class golf training is created, and then complemented with performance training that includes mental conditioning, physical conditioning, nutrition assessment and even media training delivered by expert coaches in their respective fields.
The IMG Academy Golf Program also offers a tour prep program, designed to improve tournament performance and scoring, while creating an atmosphere centered on self-reliance, discipline and training for both the mind and body. Current LPGA up-and-comers Carolina Llano and Mika Miyazato are recent graduates of this program.
All IMG Academy Golf Program participants – junior, collegiate, adult and professional students – receive performance training that not only focuses on the mechanics of the golf swing, but prepares each individual to be successful in the areas of course management, tournament preparation and practice technique. The aim of the IMG Academy Golf Program is to produce golf athletes that have been armed with the tools necessary to excel technically, tactically, physically, and mentally in the competitive world of sports and life.

What You’ll Learn
Technical Elements- full swing, pitching, chipping, putting, how/when to use certain shots, computerized swing analysis
Pre-Competition Phase- shaping shots, pre-shot routines, recovery shots, “feel” drills and exercises
Competition Phase- competing over 18 and 36 holes, stroke play vs. match play, multiple-day tournaments
Physical Performance- flexibility, injury prevention, building power, increasing core strength
Mental Strength- envisioning shots, attitude, confidence, preparation

Helping students to get better and enjoy the sport more.
What’s your favorite part of the camp experience and why?
My favorite part is having a variety of players and different levels. It keeps it exciting.
What’s the most remarkable lesson that you have learned from a camper?
Campers returned the next year after struggling during the camp. It seemed the camper didn’t have the best time and it turned out that he did.
What's the best compliment that you have received from a parent or camper that attended this camp?
My son started to “love” the game after the camp!

CAMP OPTIONS - As part of their unique offerings, IMG Academy lets you pick the program that best fits your needs. You can join for a week camp, or stay for a multiple-week series to maximize your training experience.
TYPES OF CAMPS
TOTAL ATHLETE- includes all elements of the Core Sport Camp, plus one extra hour per day of Mental Toughness, Nutrition, Speed/Movement, Leadership Training, Vision/Reaction Training
CORE- Includes all golf elements, including swing elements, shot-shaping, course strategy, and practice rounds, plus one extra hour per day of group Physical Conditioning or Mental Conditioning and college recruiting education
Weekly camps are offered year-round
5 week tournaments are offered from June to August
