In 1978, Nick Bollettieri pioneered the concept of a tennis boarding school that combined athletic training and academic education into one integrated curriculum. In 1987, IMG bought the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy.  Nick Bollettieri’s approach to teaching was so successful that by 1993 this comprehensive training approach was expanded to additional sports – golf, soccer, baseball and basketball. Today, IMG Academies' divisions include: The IMG Bollettieri Tennis Academy, the IMG Leadbetter Golf Academy, the IMG Soccer Academy, the IMG Baseball Academy, the IMG Basketball Academy, and the IMG Performance Institute (IPI).

The IMG Baseball Academy provides the most unique training environment in all of baseball today. Having coached, trained and developed MLB players, international professionals, college and high school players, we have devised a comprehensive and systematic training program that focuses on individual player, position and personal development. We settle for nothing less than the total fulfillment of an athlete’s potential as a baseball player and person.

Program Details:

·         Rigorous training in the technical, tactical, physical, and mental aspects of the game.

·         All coaching conducted by instructors with extensive pro/collegiate playing, scouting, and coaching experience.

·         Specific coaches responsible for particular areas of expertise: infield, outfield, pitching, catching, base running, and hitting

·         Extensive video analysis utilized to teach the finer fundamentals.

·         Drills, practice sessions, and situational games each week.

·         Daily performance sessions conducted by the IMG Performance Institute aimed at building bigger, faster, stronger and more explosive baseball athletes.

·         Mental conditioning sessions that teach you to “win” on any given day.

·         The nutritional requirements for athletic development are incorporated into all training table meals.
