Idol Camp is the official American Idol performing arts summer camp for kids between the ages of 10 and 15. Located on Pali Mountain, on a private campus in California's picturesque San Bernardino Mountains, Idol Camp offers a well-rounded curriculum designed to foster passion and creativity in a fun-filled, non-competitive environment. Campers create their own schedules by choosing from classes in singing, dancing, acting, song writing, audition and performance techniques, personal style, video production, set design and more. Instruction will be provided by respected professionals, with special master classes featuring guest artists such as favorite former American Idol contestants, recording artists, and other top industry professionals*. Traditional camp activities are also included such as swimming and team sports. And each evening will bring the entire camp together for fun events, including the final camp performance. There are five intensive 2-week summer sessions to choose from, with up to 400 campers per session, with up to 2000 campers over the summer. Tuition for Idol Camp is $2,995 per 14-day session. Fully-paid scholarships will be awarded to a percentage of applicants based on financial need. Application Deadline: 4/18/08
