Summer Address:

IGNITE 2006 is a summer camp that will run from July 3-28 and will engage your children, introducing them to new experiences, fostering a love of learning and helping them to grow spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally. IGNITE 2006 focuses on four areas: Sports, Science, Arts and Drama. All programs are led by experienced educators who are experts in their fields. IGNITE 2006 also features weekly field trips to places like the Ontario Science Centre, Toronto Zoo and Ontario Place. IGNITE 2006 features five different areas to participate in: ARTS & CRAFTS: Children build their visual art skills by experimenting with a variety of materials and using different media. DRAMA: Children expand their writing skills as they create scripts. They will learn about the art and craft of theatre and gain confidence as young actors. SCIENCE: Children try fun activities such as extracting DNA from an onion. All activities tie in directly with the Ontario Curriculum. SPORTS: Children develop stamina and expand their team work skills while learning how to play various sports. FIESTA : A multi-activity morning of fun coordinated with Chartwell Church.
