Students choose a single course of study in fiction, poetry, or creative writing (which includes some fiction, some poetry, and some nonfiction). In small workshops and seminar classes, students both examine their own work and learn to read as writers. Faculty is comprised of graduates of the Iowa Writers' Workshop.
