Staff
Our nurturing and talented summer camp staff is dedicated to creating a rich and wonderful camp experience for your child. We have assembled a caring, sensitive, and talented group of individuals who share our vision of a creating a developmentally appropriate, socially enriching camp experience for every child. Camp staff is comprised of teachers, coaches, students, and specialists who combine extensive training with a diverse background in education and the arts to develop high-quality programming for our campers. Counselors are selected based on experience, education, and enthusiasm, and participate in extensive pre-camp leadership training.
Swimming
Our campers enjoy swimming twice a day in one of the 3 beautiful pools. Water Safety Instructors use the Red Cross swim methods to teach the children new skills. In addition to instructional swim, campers enjoy free swim as well as the large slide. Instructors work to develop skills in a structured environment while working with camp counselors to get to know the children and strengthen each of their abilities.
Programming
Campers are empowered to grow into creative, thoughtful individuals as well as contributing members of our Jewish community through Friday Shabbat celebrations, cooking projects, and special events which are grounded in Jewish values, language, and culture. Campers also participate in community service throughout the summer, which help teach how to give back to our community and our world. Specialists will visit each group and help bring a feeling of what it means to be a part of our Jewish community to each camper.
