Jason Otter Camps

Jason is an expert at teaching the fundamentals of the game from the physical aspect as well as the mental. Each drill will be broken down and explained so each student will develop a clear understanding of the exact reasoning behind it. He also teaches basketball conditioning. Jason’s conditioning is executed through fundamental drills in a very intense manner.

Jason's camps are all co-ed, unless requested differently. They are like none you've ever attended. They are physically and mentally challenging, but provide each player with the proper tools to elevate their game. These camps build individual skills. There is no team scrimmaging or one-on-one competition. They are not a day-care or a trophy camp — they are for serious players wanting to elevate their game.

One Day Camp

The one day camp requires a minimum of 30 students and the maximum is determined by the available space of the facility the camp is taking place. The camps are run co-ed unless requested differently. The one-day camp is designed for the upper level players beginning at the – 4th grade through 12th.

Registration includes lunch, water, Gatorade, T-shirt , and a packet with all of the drills that have been taught that day.

Two Day Camp

The 2 day camp is designed in a way that two camps could be run each day. For example: 8 a.m. to Noon elementary and/or middle school players, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. high school/advanced players. This camp requires a minimum of 30 players in each session. The maximum is determined by the space of the facility. The exact same group of players would come for the two consecutive days of training either in the morning session or the afternoon session.

Every student will receive a camp T-shirt and a packet of the drills that have been taught that day. Each player would need to bring a water bottle.

Point Guard Elite Camp

Students spend a grueling four days on the hardwood and in the classroom. The first day starts with an early morning workout and ends with an evening of team drills that are designed to help players develop their leadership skills and court awareness. Jason focuses on player development, taking students through many of the drills that he used to build NBA and highly touted Division I players who have trained with Jason.

The camp is designed to teach the mental and physical aspects of player development. Classroom sessions will cover areas such as: athletic nutrition, beating your defender, leadership skills on and off the court, player/coach relationships, how to plan your daily individual workouts and much more. Students will take notes throughout the camp and be tested in the classroom on specific topics on a daily basis. Students will compile a folder throughout the camp that they take home with them and can be used throughout the year to develop and record their workouts.

Many players dream about earning college scholarships and someday playing in the NBA, but most do not understand the type of commitment that is needed to attain dreams of this magnitude. This camp is designed to teach players how to work with intensity and intelligence to become the best player they possibly can. Players and parents need to understand that this camp is not for the beginning player. This is an individual player camp that gives the players the necessary tools to elevate their games to reach their goals.

Horseplay and poor attitudes will not be tolerated and could lead to dismissal from camp without a refund. Players are expected to behave as they would in a team environment. If your desires are to develop yourself as a leader on and off the court, this is the camp for you.

Instructors

Jason’s staff is an ensemble of professional players that were highly touted Division I players. Jason has trained his staff, personally, since their high school years. Some of the Jason Otter’s School of Basketball instructors are currently playing professionally. Their talent, knowledge, hard work, training, skills, and expertise elevate this camp to the ELITE level of training you are looking for.
